My next event is only a week away! Here's the press release for the festival, along with all the info for hours.We will be in the Wood County Invitational Art Show, located in the Huntington Bank parking lot, just off the main drag and juried art show.

Bowling Green, OH--Wood County - The 17th annual Black Swamp Arts Festival will feature a variety
of visual artists from across the country, local and national musical acts, and an interactive youth art area
– all free of charge.
The Festival running from Friday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. thru Sunday, Sept. 13 5 p.m. It will open Friday with live music on the
Main Stage located off Main Street directly behind Panerra Bread and Sam B’s Restaurants. A large variety of food and drink
will be available in the Concessions Garden situated adjacent to the stage. Juried and Wood County Invitational Art shows will
be open Saturday and Sunday. Festival guests will be entertained with live music and art throughout the weekend.
Many venues will provide live entertainment throughout the festival. The Main stage will feature national, regional and local
music performances spanning a variety of music genres. A Complete stage schedule can be found at www.blackswamparts.org.
As music rings through the Downtown on Saturday and Sunday, patrons can enjoy the two fine art and fine craft shows
featuring artists from across the nation as well as from the Wood County community.
The Juried Art Show features more than 100 artists in varied mediums ranging from watercolor, jewelry, sculpture,
photography, multimedia and glass. Along with past festival winners and familiar favorites, many new and exciting artists will
display and sell their work.
Additionally, more than 40 local artists display their work in the Wood County Invitational Art Show. Other artists showcased
include Bowling Green State University student artwork and Artists at Work, a demonstration/participation area. All art shows
are open Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Art On The Mall, July 26, 10A to 5P
For the first time, I am a "returning" artist! Did this show last year, was probably the best one I have participated in so far, both for the sales I had to the setting and location. It is a very nice art show, primarily for alumni of the University, which I am not one of, but I was accepted there anyway (so I guess I'm an "alumni for the day"!)

One of the only (and very nice) garden tours in my area, I had taken the tour for several years - long before I had taken up leaf casting and became a vendor. I'm sorry I can't go on the tour myself anymore- can't be in two places at once, though! Many vendors will be located in the gardens - since my work is relatively heavy, we decided we would be better placed at the Rossford High School parking lot where the garden enthusiasts will be startng the tour. I may be joined by my buddies at Carruth's Garden Smiles(where you will find some of my work) this year as well as Robin Crego's Garden Delights from Sylvania, Oh (I was set up at her shop last Saturday at their annual art show, " Art In The Garden" (that's where the above pic was taken).

Toledo Farmers Market Flower Day Weekend
Toledo Farmers Market / 525 Market St.
All the nurseries, greenhouses and farms (garden artists, too!;o) ) in the area converge on the Market this weekend for the biggest crowds it sees all year! We will be set up on both days, May 23 (Market Day) and May 24 (Flower Day) from 7:30 to 4(ish). Please come out, have a fun day, and get your bedding plants, herbs and perennials for the year, as well as unique garden and home art for yourself or your gardening friends!
