~~~Items For Sale~~~
NanciFaqs...
These are not from a factory or mass produced. I am totally self taught, I have never taken classes for this or attended any formal art school. They are created using leaves from my own garden and I work in my suburban backyard, not a studio. Though my husband is an incredible help to me in every other aspect of this adventure, the artwork is mine alone. So if you are looking for a very special, one of a kind piece of nature inspired art, this is as unique and personal as it gets!
NOTE: I will be removing the items for sale from this site soon. I will only sell my work at local art shows going forward - unfortunately, I can only make enough to take to the shows, and am not able to keep any inventory held back :o(
 Every leaf/flower used for the impression is destroyed in the process, and are all painted freehand, so the colors are never the same! Do not mistake them for pottery or ceramics, they are made with a totally different medium, which is a non aggregate, (i.e., no gravel or stone) cement mix!
  Painted with acrylic and /or latex paints, and sealed with an acrylic seal and cure product, (the same that is used for concrete patios), they are signed and dated, with the common or species name of the plant, depending on which is more commonly used.  They all have an aluminum hanger in the back, unless noted. Aluminum is used so if it is displayed flat, such as on a table or patio, the hanger can be easily bent out of the way.
  My focus on these primarily began as art for the garden, but the uses are only limited by your imagination! The only recommendations I would have is not to put raw food on them, such as cold cuts – but would be fine for wrapped candies or nuts in the shell. If you live in a cold winter zone, they should be protected from ice and snow – cold itself will not hurt them, so if they are stored in an unheated garage or shed, that would be fine. Of course, I always recommend that they be stored by bringing them in the house and displaying them on your walls in the winter!
